Rewley House accommodation combines the character of an historic building with the convenience of a modern hotel in the city centre and, as an Oxford Lifelong Learning student, you can book a room at a discounted rate (subject to availability).
All rooms are located in Wellington Square, just a short walk to Oxford’s shops, restaurants and iconic buildings – offering both quality and great value for an exceptional location.
Rewley House provides 4-star campus accommodation, rated by Visit England and offers comfortable en-suite rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. Guests also have access to on-site dining facilities and our Common Room bar.
Accommodation included in the course fee
Where accommodation is included in the course fee, or available to book as an optional extra, this will be detailed on the course page. This accommodation fee includes a buffet breakfast. If additional dining options are available, you can also add these during the enrolment process.

Central Oxford en-suite rooms
Our central Oxford accommodation offers comfortable en-suite rooms and each bedroom has tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
We offer:
- Single, twin and double rooms
- Two self-contained flats (the Rewley Flat and the Wellington Suite)
- Accessible bedroom suite with adjoining room for carers (see details below as to how to book this room)
We also have a daytime luggage storage facility, where you can store your luggage on your arrival and/or departure day if needed. Please see our luggage storage policy below for full details.
Accessible bedroom suite and ground/lower floor rooms
Rewley House has a self-contained bedroom suite on the ground floor, equipped for use by people with mobility problems with an adjoining room for carers. Access to the building is by a ramp with powered entrance doors.

Parking
Two public disabled parking bays provided by Oxford City Council are situated on Wellington Square close to the Department.
Breakfast
Full English and Continental breakfast options are served in the Dining Room from 8am to 9.30am daily.
The option of adding breakfast to your stay can be added during the online booking process.
Common Room and bar
Our Common Room overlooks our quiet, private courtyard. It has a fully licensed bar which is open daily from 8.30am, and serves sandwiches, cakes, hot drinks, soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits.
Lunch and dinner options
A two course buffet lunch is served from 12.30–1.30pm daily. Vegetarian options are always available; those with specific dietary requirements should get in touch in advance to discuss alternative menu options.
For students on residential courses, dinner is available from 7pm most evenings, though it is advisable to confirm availability.

Parking
There are no car parking facilities at Rewley House. A limited number of metered street parking spaces are available in Wellington Square for short-term parking. If you require long-term parking we recommend using the Park and Ride system.
Checking in and out
Reception at Rewley House is located on St John Street, just around the corner from Wellington Square. Reception is open daily from 8am to 10pm. If you expect to arrive outside these hours, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-in is from 2pm onwards, check-out is by 10am.
Luggage storage
Located at Rewley House Reception is a daytime luggage storage facility for use by students and other guests staying in our accommodation. Space is limited, and luggage may only be stored in the cupboard on the day of arrival or the day of departure. We are unable to take responsibility for any loss or theft of, or damage to luggage.
Access can be requested when Reception is open, daily from 8am to 10.30pm. We are unable to provide an overnight luggage storage facility.
Laundry
A coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer (£5.50) are available on the first floor of Staircase B in Rewley House.
Dry cleaning can be arranged; please allow a three day turnaround.

You may pay by credit/debit card (please note we do not accept American Express).
Payment will be required at the time of making the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
Individual accommodation bookings (up to 2 rooms)
- If less than 48 hours’ notice is given: 100% of full accommodation charges will apply.
Group accommodation bookings
3 to 9 rooms
- Less than 2 weeks’ notice given: 50% of accommodation charges will apply.
- If less than 7 days’ notice is given: 100% of accommodation and catering charges will apply.
10 or more rooms
- Less than 4 weeks’ notice given: 25% of accommodation charges will apply.
- Less than 2 weeks’ notice given: 50% of accommodation charges will apply.
- If less than 7 days’ notice is given: 100% of accommodation and catering charges will apply.
