Annual ceremonies at the Sheldonian Theatre
For students who complete non-matriculated award-bearing courses the award ceremonies take place at the Sheldonian Theatre in March and May. These events are the culmination of the student experience on our non-matriculated award-bearing courses, and many students travel from around the world to attend their ceremony.
Matriculated students (receiving Master’s and DPhils) attend a graduation ceremony with their college instead. Please contact your College Administrator for further details about your college graduation ceremony.
Invitations for 2027 award ceremonies will be sent out in January 2027.

Former students have continued studies through the University of Oxford, achieving higher degrees, or have gone on to pursue careers connected to courses they have studied with Oxford Lifelong Learning.
