Marina is interested in developing courses that emphasize the physical concepts and ideas of physics and their connections with literature and art. She developed courses that explore fractals in nature and art, or the way the concepts of space and time are reflected in literature.
Marina’s area of research is at the intersection between physics and literature. She is interested in the creative ways writers (such as J. L. Borges and Lewis Carroll) incorporate fundamental concepts and ideas in physics in their literary work.
