Our facilities and meeting rooms

Rewley House in Wellington Square is the main base for Oxford Lifelong Learning’s activities. Located in a quiet enclave of central Oxford, Rewley House is a short walk from Oxford’s historic sites, colleges, museums, shops and restaurants, thus making it the ideal base for students and visitors alike.

Conference facilities

Our facilities include:

• A 125 seat lecture theatre (removable seating to accommodate up to 10 wheelchair users) with projection booth and digital lectern.
• 10 well appointed meeting rooms equipped with audio visual equipment.
• A fully equipped computer teaching room with 16 terminals.
• In-house technical support team.

Catering

The dining and catering services offered by Rewley House have an excellent reputation for the high standard of food we offer, which is freshly prepared in our kitchens in Wellington Square by our team of talented chefs.

As well as at Rewley House, we can also provide catering on location – both within our facilities or just about anywhere in Oxford.

Our Dining Room, which boasts a vaulted atrium, can seat 84 people and the adjacent Acland Room can seat up to 48 more. These rooms can be booked individually or together. Formal dinners, receptions, drinks parties and other functions can be arranged in these dining areas as well as in our Mawby Suite.

Tea and coffee can be served after events in our Common Room, and this also has a fully licensed bar.

Accommodation

We are able to accommodate up to 70 guests in Wellington Square, central Oxford.

• ‘Number 12’, is an elegant Victorian building on Wellington Square in central Oxford, consisting of 9 superior en suite bedrooms. These rooms are traditionally decorated (some with original decorative fireplaces) and offer comfortable king size and double beds.
• Rewley House and surrounding buildings on Wellington Square feature 45 en suite bedrooms (single, twin and double rooms).
• Two self-contained flats (the Rewley Flat and the Wellington Suite).
• Rewley House has an accessible bedroom suite with adjoining room for carers.

All bedrooms feature Freeview television, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities.

Common Room, courtyard and garden

Our fully-licensed Common Room is open daily from 8.30am. The bar sells fresh bean coffee, cakes and panini, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

We also have a secluded central courtyard and landscaped back garden for relaxation or receptions.
