Dr Joe MacDonagh is a Chartered Psychologist and former President of the Psychological Society of Ireland. He is Chair of the Life and Health Sciences Committee of the Royal Irish Academy. During his Visiting Fellowship, Dr MacDonagh worked with academics across the University of Oxford and participated in seminars, sharing expertise in education, psychology and pedagogy. He delivered two talks focused on the use of generative AI in education and approaches to effective educational practice.
