Day and weekend events

Join us online or in Oxford

Explore a topic in depth over one or two days, hone your skills in a small practical workshop, extend your knowledge over several weeks with a lecture series, or explore the city of Oxford with a walking tour.

Our day and weekend events are all taught by lecturers and speakers who are specialists in their field of research. Events run in person or online, with some offered in both formats. All are non-assessed and don't require coursework.

How to join an event

Events are delivered in the following teaching formats:

• 'Online – live' events are delivered online, with real-time discussion with tutors and other students taking place using an online platform.
• 'In-person' events meet in Oxford or at another specified location for face-to-face teaching.
• 'Hybrid teaching' events consist of livestreamed lectures and panel discussions. You can join us in person or online – you decide! Look for 'hybrid' in the course listings.
