Many programmes are delivered primarily online, while others combine online study with short, immersive residencies in Oxford — giving you the opportunity to engage with tutors and peers in person and experience Oxford’s unique academic environment.

These part-time Oxford University undergraduate programmes (certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas) are equivalent to, or taught at, first, second and third-year undergraduate level.
All are designed with flexibility in mind, since many of our students study alongside work and family commitments. Some meet weekly in Oxford, others are taught through blended learning, and two of our advanced diplomas are taught entirely online.
Some subjects offer the chance to progress to a higher level of study.
We offer more than 40 part-time postgraduate certificates and diplomas, master’s degrees and DPhils. Programme formats and delivery vary, but most are taught as a blend of short residencies in Oxford with online components.
Individual modules from many of our postgraduate programmes can also be studied as standalone short courses.
