Amin Karamlou
Amin Karamlou currently holds a Post-Doctoral Research Position at the UCL Quantum Science and Technology Institute
Amin was a PhD student at the University of Oxford and has received a MEng degree in Computing Science from Imperial College London. His doctorate research was in the field of quantum computing and theoretical computer science, with focus on the applications of logic within these fields.
Prior to starting his PhD at Oxford, Amin received the Fullbright fellowship, allowing him to spend a year as a visiting student researcher in the US based at UT Austin as well as attending expert workshops at UC Berkeley’s Simons Institute.

Quantum computing is an emerging field that uses the principle of quantum physics replacing classic computing which is based on electronics processing. This course aims to describe the quantum computing in the context of technology applications.
