Michael Redley
Michael's doctoral work at Cambridge University was in the colonial history of Africa. He has a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics, and has taught various topics in politics and twentieth century history.

Propaganda shaped history throughout the world in the twentieth century. We will explore its roots in mass politics, literacy and media, its consequences for democratic and totalitarian politics and culture, and its challenge to the very idea of truth.
Britain in the Twenties and Thirties looked back to the lost world before 1914, but also forward to a future of progress in international relations, democratic freedoms, greater equality and personal fulfillment, in years haunted also by fears of war.
