Magnus Moar
Magnus Moar is a graduate of Oxford and Sussex Universities with a doctoral thesis focussing on the work of Kierkegaard. Magnus has a published article on Kierkegaard and Levinas and has been teaching undergraduates for fifteen years.

'From Hegel to Heidegger' examines an intellectually fruitful period of German philosophy from the late eighteenth to the early twentieth century. Considering the key German thinkers of this period, the course explores their contributions to philosophy.
'Contemporary Moral Crises' aims to explore some of the most important moral problems facing human civilization today and examine how philosophers have attempted to address these particular issues.
Explore the notion of liberty in both moral and political philosophy. From attempting to balance paternalism and risk, to considering the extent of our freedom of speech and action, we will consider the relationship between law, freedom and morality.
